About Us

 Mr. Charles E. Scott, Jr. is a Master in Tang Soo Do, an internationally recognized Martial Art. He has competed nationally and internationally during his Martial Arts career, winning two international title and five National titles. In addition, Master Scott retired as the World Karate Organization (WKO) Cruiser weight champion.  He is the California State Director of R.A.D (Rape Aggression Defense), which is nationally recognized by law enforcement agencies, colleges and universities.  He is a certified R.A.D (Rape Aggression Defense) Instructor since 1998 as well as an instructor trainer. He is also a radKIDS (resisting aggression defensively) Instructor since 2000. To round out Master Scott’s certifications, he is  a Cardio Karate Instructor. Accompanying Master Scott’s certifications, titles,38 years of training, and 34 years of teaching, He has provided men, women, children, as well as corporate onsite training in self-defense, awareness, discipline, self-defense philosophies and confidence within a comfortable structured environment conducive to learning. In addition, he has taught Gun Defense and other defensive tactics as a special instructor for the US Marines.

Master Scott feels his greatest accomplishment is having the opportunity to train and continue to hone his skills under Master Lloyd Francis.  Mr. Scott started training with Master Francis in 1987
